Welcome
Why choose the sixth form at Hulme over any other sixth form or college? As the most senior members of the school, there is a sense of community spirit amongst sixth formers. They are given so much more freedom and ultimately responsible for managing their own time and workload. Instead of just being a face in the crowd, the more intimate environment allows them to form bonds with staff and students that will allow for the best possible academic education.
We encourage independent learning, shouldering responsibility and making the most of opportunities on offer. Privileges and freedom are there to be enjoyed in return for high expectation in behavior, attitude and commitment to study.
The sixth form is accommodated in two large common rooms in the senior school which both have kitchens where students can make hot drinks and light snacks. They are also equipped with stereos and quality newspapers are provided daily.
Hulme and Tullie Houses, off the main school site, provide teaching facilities for small classes and rooms for quiet, private study.
