Any Dream Will Do!

On Thursday 22nd October, the Year Two children visited the Palace Theatre in Manchester to watch Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. After half term, the children will be making their own textile creations of the coat, using batique and fabric dying techniques; this was the perfect opportunity to see what their final products might look like! The children will use the designs they saw in the production as inspiration for their own coat designs. Once a design is finalised, each of the children will make a template to cut around and stitch together. Once stitched, the coats can be dyed using batique resist techniques and fabric dyes.
