Art Week at Kindergarten

Kindergarten enjoyed another productive Art Week at the end of April. We invited Artist Cathy Woo who gave a Chinese twist to the week by working with the Year 1 and 2 children on Chinese flower paintings and introduced the Nursery and Reception children to Tai Chi. The children also produced flower paintings on canvas and ceramic leaf bowls. Parents were invited to a morning of dance in the Sports Hall where dance creations varied from “Let’s Twist again”, to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and the musical “Oliver”. Children showed their work to parents and friends at an Art Exhibition on the 14th May.
