Pirate Pete Visits Kindergarten

What does a busy Head Boy do in the spare moments in his lunch break? He dresses up in full pirate regalia and ventures to Thornycroft to entertain the youngest members of our schools. Jack Williams has had some nerve wracking tasks to perform since he became Head Boy, but dressing up as a pirate and facing kindergarten children has got to be the scariest experience so far, he reported. To celebrate the end of Book Week, the children, all in fancy dress themselves, welcomed “Pirate Pete” and his wife (Head Girl Emma Washington – also dressed for the part) to their classroom to regale them with tales of swashbuckling adventures on the high seas. Jack and Emma were delighted to be rewarded for their efforts with some booty – chocolate coins presented in a treasure chest!
