Wednesday 25th March U13 (Year 8) County Netball Tournament at Altrincham Girls Grammar School

Well done to the Year 8 Netball team who took part in the U13 County Tournament on Wednesday. The team were happy to welcome back Cathy Baxter from injury and Alice Travis fresh from the U14 Nationals in fine shooting form. The girls performed well in thier pool games, winning their section. After extra time in the semi finals the team progressed to the finals. A three way final was played out between Hulme, Altrincham and Withington Girls. Altrincham beat both Hulme and Withington to become 2009 County Champions, Hulme beat Withington to finish as County Runners Up. Well played everyone. Player of the tournament Jess Illingworth.
