Extra Curricular
We encourage girls to take part in the extensive range of extra-curricular activities on offer each lunch hour, after school, at weekends and during the school holidays. Many of these activities are available across the age range, giving senior girls a valuable chance to organise and lead activities for junior members of the school. Members of staff and, in some cases, parents and friends of the school are involved in the extra curricular programme which is ever evolving according to demand and interests.
Sport
Girls have the opportunity to further their development out of school hours. The school runs teams in all the major games including hockey, netball, basketball, badminton, football and swimming. Practice sessions take place at lunchtime and after school.
Music
Music is a very important part of the extra curricular programme on offer at Hulme and girls can choose from the junior, senior and chamber choirs as well as the Hulme singers. There is also an orchestra and wind ensemble. Concerts and Joint Productions are held frequently in the school hall.
Societies
Girls may wish to become involved with Young Enterprise, the production of the School Magazine FLAME and the School Radio. There is also a Maths, Biology and Chemistry Club.
