Last Saturday was yet another successful morning at Bowlee Playing Fields competing in the junior schools cross country series. The weather was horrible making the course very muddy. All runners were extremely brave competing in the rain, but it obviously suited them as Estcourt recorded some fantastic results. Jemma Delaney, Year 4 came 2nd in the U9 race. All Year 5 and 6 runners finished in the top 47 with Katie Laverty 10th Ella Kay 9th Heidi Bassindale 8th and Freya Scott 3rd. The girls from Year 3 ran confidently with Lucy Shepherd finishing in 23rd place, an excellent position for her first race. Most improved runners were Ellie Barrett jumping 25 places since her last race in October and Xanthe Hadfield. Thank you to all the girls who competed.
