Estcourt is the Girls' Preparatory and educates girls from the ages of 7 to 11 years old, and at the age of 11 all girls take the Entrance Examination for the girls' senior school.

Providing a well-balanced curriculum of academic study – as well as a stimulating range of extra curricular activities – all aspects of school life are designed to help prepare the girls for the next stage in their education and instill a clear sense of worth and the capability to face future challenges.
