Hulme pip Malvern in the first round of the Boodles ISFA Cup

Hulme beat Malvern College 2-1 in close encounter on Big side. Malvern took the lead midway through the first half, but one minute after the half time interval Zak Forster equalised for Hulme. Ten minutes later a free-kick from Adam Myers evaded everyone one and nestled in the bottom corner of the Malvern goal. Some resolute defending by the entire team and some narrow misses meant that Malvern did not equalise. Hulme will play away to either Eton or Latymer Upper in the second round.
