Silver Singing Award for Kindergarten

In September 2009 Oldham Hulme Kindergarten achieved the Silver Sing Up Award in recognition and celebration of putting singing at the heart of its school life.
Anna Jewitt - Sing Up Area Leader(North West) -said "The range and quality of work shown here is excellent and it is clear that singing is embedded in the school day through a variety of activities and throughout the curriculum. The children are to be heard singing in tune and enjoying the activities available. It appears that the singing champion and other staff members implement high standards of singing delivery, with a good variety of fun exercises and action songs. The headteacher's endorsement and the written plans are proof that the institution as a whole is behind the drive to make a singing school."
