Art Summer School 2009

This year's art summer school was based on a visit by Lancashire Hawks and Owls. A morning was spent in close proximity to various owls, kestrels and so on, with students getting the chance to handle, draw and photograph these magnificent creatures (the Eagle Owl was huuuge!!!). The remainder of the week was spent in producing working sketches and ideas that were turned into sculptures. The end results looked impressive and as well as that, a complete GCSE art project is now already in the bag for those about to start their course this September.
