Mrs Garside led a very successful trip to Berlin at the beginning of the Christmas holidays. Thirty boys and four members of staff braved the arctic conditions and enjoyed three days sight seeing in the German capital. Highlights of the tour included: the Olympic Stadium, Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, the Fernsehturm (TV Tower), the DDR Museum, an evening boad trip on the river, and, most impressive of all, the Reichstag Building with Norman Foster's magnificent dome.
