Reception to Year 2 are based in Thornycroft House. This Grade 2 listed building has been sensitively restored to provide modern teaching spaces whilst still retaining the beautiful original features.

The oak paneled hallway provides a spacious reception area. The Reception classes are situated in rooms on the ground floor which have large windows looking out on to the lawns, all which have access to a soft play area at the side of the building.

From reception the sweeping staircase leads to the first floor with classrooms for Years 1 and 2. Each room has the original fireplaces which give them a ‘home from home’ feel.

The resources within the school have been updated and include new interactive whiteboards and a laptop trolley with 20 laptops.
