The Leicester Hilton Hotel was the venue for our latest regional reunion held on 23rd April.
It was great to see so many faces including Margaret Winfield, Headmistress of the Girls' school between 1975-85. She keeps in touch with several ex-pupils and ex-teachers and has promised to attend the 80's/90's reunion in October.
Also present was Geoffrey Hilditch who left Hulme in the early forties. He kept us all entertained with his stories about Hulme during the war.
The reunion also provided younger ex-pupils with the opportunity to reminisce about their time at Hulme, including Michael Proctor who left Hulme in 1991 and married old girl, Karen Wright.
A great night was had by all. We look forward to next year's regional event, watch this space for venue details.
